Pokémon Squishmallows: where to buy Pikachu, Snorlax, Gengar, Togepi Leave a comment

Pokémon Squishmallows are technically available, but unfortunately, their intense popularity has many of these softies running for the tall grass. Right now, the only Pokémon Squishmallow in stock (and not marked up in price) is the 14-inch Pikachu, which is available at Best Buy and Amazon.

In addition to Pikachu, Jazwares and the Pokémon Company have launched Squishmallows of Gengar, Snorlax, and Togepi, but more are coming later this year. Stay tuned for news on Piplup, Teddiursa, and Clefairy.

Where to buy Pikachu Squishmallows

We suggest checking for a Pikachu Squishmallow at Best Buy or Amazon. Both retailers currently have the 14-inch Pikachu at a reasonable $29.99 price. Other places that usually have the store-exclusive 12-inch version in stock, like at the Pokémon Center, have been selling out quickly.

Where to buy Gengar Squishmallows

There are plenty of store listings for the grinning, ghastly pokémon, but mos of them are out of stock, or charging more than the Squishmallow normally costs. However, you might be able to find the 14-inch Gengar at Best Buy stores for $29.99.

Where to buy Snorlax and Togepi Squishmallows

Surprising nobody, Snorlax and Togepi hit the market and sold out shortly thereafter. Hopefully, the stock situation will improve so that you can easily get one. However, you can pay more than the normal cost for the 10-inch version of either one at Showcase for $39.99 each.

If you absolutely need to bring home today, you might be able to find some third-party listings on Walmart, or eBay, but these tend to fluctuate pretty wildly in terms of their pricing and availability. We don’t recommend going this route unless you run out of other options.

For anyone looking to put in some additional legwork, there are resources available that provide alerts for when these prized commodities get restocked. For that, we’d recommend following Squish Collect on Twitter, who provides updates on restocks for Squishmallows.

Alternatively, there are plenty of other oversized plush Pokémon currently in stock at Target and GameStop. While they aren’t official Squishmallow-branded products, they’re almost as cute.

Update (May 19): Updated pricing and availability for all items. It’s still tough to get a Pokémon Squishmallow!
